The Team

The Dubber Cyber Security and Technology Risk team is part of the broader CTO group which contains IT functions such as Infrastructure, DevOps, Data Platform and Delivery teams. Cyber Operations is directly involved in areas such as Cyber incident response, operating and maintaining our group wide cyber controls, vulnerability & threat detection & remediation and providing specialist Cyber Engineering support for technology teams.

The Role 

The key responsibilities of your role are as follows:

  • Work closely with the CISO as Lead Incident Manager during significant Cyber security incidents
  • Vendor Management of key Cyber partners including the SOC
  • Accountable for the day-to-day operations of the team, including team direction, coaching and mentoring of direct reports
  • Management and overall responsibility for the operation. design, effectiveness and optimisation of Cyber Operations controls
  • Creation of regular reports/documentation for audiences up to and including Board level
  • Act as an escalation point for any significant issues that your team cannot resolve
  • Contribute to our Security Architecture practice using your experience to help drive the best outcomes
  • Work closely with and have the ability to influence other IT leaders to ensure Cyber activities get appropriate priority
  • Monitor and advise IT teams when critical patches are required on Dubber infrastructure.
  • Identification of new or emerging technology that could be applied to Cyber Operations
  • Champion Cyber initiatives (e.g: Vulnerability Management) across IT and the broader business
  • Direct Level 2 Incident Management activities when escalated from the SOC
  • Manage and ensure processes, system build guides, playbooks etc are documented

What You'll Bring

  • 15+ years experience in a large, complex, sophisticated 24x7 IT environment
  • 5+ years of Cyber team management experience
  • 5+ years experience running a Security Operations Centre (or equivalent)
  • 5+ years experience in Cyber Incident Management
  • An IT or Cyber Security degree is essential
  • Professional Cyber qualifications (e.g: CISSP, CISM) highly regarded
  • Relevant IT Vendor certifications (e.g: Azure, AWS) highly regarded
  • Strong vendor management experience
  • Experience with the following would be highly regarded:  FireEye, Qualys, Splunk, AWS, Active Directory, Linux, Scripting and Automation
