To help drive this growth we are looking for a Senior Manager, Cash Management. This newly created positions will ensure the day-to-day cash requirements, as well as the mid- and long-term requirements of the global business, are forecast, planned for, and met optimally. This role will oversee all aspects of the Groups cash management, provide reporting and analysis at an Exec and Board level and has the opportunity to build relationships across Zip Globally.
ModellingBuild Cashflow models at an appropriate level of detail to forecast the cash requirements from both a debt and equity perspective for each region/business and the Consolidated Group, based on the Groups budgets and forecasts.Provide “what if” analysis on the material components of the forecast. Incorporate material timing differences between operation cash reported in the P&L and actual cash payments in the model eg accrued / prepaid Update models to reflect new product initiatives and changes in business models as required.Work closely with the Strategy and New Markets teams to ensure all expansion projects, including investments, new locations and acquisitions are built into the cashflow model.Model MaintenanceDevelop and rollout an internal operating cadence, in conjunction with each region / business to facilitate the timely reporting of both actual and forecast cash requirements in support of the model. Analyse material variances between actual and forecast, and update model to reflect variances where required. Debt Funding - TreasuryProvide forecast debt funding requirements to the Treasury Team by geography / business line to enable the Treasury Team to ensure funding facilities are in place to meet the requirement in line with the liquidity policies and risk tolerance approved by the Board.Cash ManagementPlan, and execute on, the movement of cash around the Group to ensure all countries have sufficient cash in line with their forecast cash requirements.Manage the Groups cash around the peak retail trading days (e.g., Cyber Friday, Boxing day) in line with forecasts, to ensure all countries are adequately funded to support increased Merchant payment outflows.ReportingProvide weekly cashflow updates to the Finance leadership team, highlighting, and explaining any material variances between actual and forecast. Provide monthly Group cashflow forecasts to the Board and Executive Team, for the next 18 months, identifying debt and equity funding requirements to meet the liquidity policies and risk tolerance approved by the Board.Detail risks / opportunities that may impact the 18 month forecast in the report to the Board.Foreign Currency Manage the Group’s exposure to FX fluctuations, recommend and implement an FX hedging policy.Instigate all material cross currency movements between group companies, for approval.Support local management in managing the FX exposure arising from the payment of international suppliers.
