Role Description:

As an outbound Sales Development Representative, you will be a key part of our sales and growth efforts. You will work closely with our existing Sales Development Representative and our team of Account Executives. You will be reaching out to decision makers and influencers in midsize companies across a range of different industries, providing engaging content and insights that explain why Whispir can help their company/organization. You will have a suite of tools at your disposal including Outreach, Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and other lead mining and research tools. You will have the support of the sales and marketing team to train and equip you with the knowledge you need to do your job. Success will come from being a great listener, highly organized with plenty of energy and enthusiasm for hitting your personal goals and being accountable for helping your team win.

Main Responsibilities: 

  • Outbound emailing (high volume, supported by specialized software tools)
  • Outbound prospecting calls, using Outreach (50 - 80 per day, supported by software)
  • Fast and proficient research via social media and google
  • Salesforce lead and list management
  • Efficient use of sales enablement software (Outreach) 
  • Lead and activity management and tracking
  • Maintaining a high volume of activities
  • Responsibility for your daily and weekly reporting

Key skills/Attributes required:

  • 1-3 years sales experience 
  • Hunter mentality
  • Great listening skills and ability to quickly become a trusted resource for decision-makers
  • Strong communication and objection handling skills
