Leveraging our diverse and extensive medical imaging dataset, is developing tools to assist Radiologists by seamlessly integrating into their current workflow to provide diagnostic support. Our suite of comprehensive AI-solutions will support radiologists during their end-to-end process of imaging interpretation. 
About your role
As we pioneer new ways of improving health delivery at scale using the most cutting edge AI technologies, we find ourselves growing at a rapid (and exciting!) pace. As part of this growth, we're looking for a highly motivated and astute Clinical AI Associate to help bridge the gap between the clinical and technical worlds at Key accountabilities will include supporting the design and implementation of research projects to test AI products and performing statistical analysis, partnering with our product development team to deliver user-oriented solutions and conduct research to be published in leading academic journals.
Through your role as a Clinical AI Associate with us, you will play a key role in helping us achieve our goal of improving patient outcomes and making a positive impact for the world.
Note: we support flexible and remote working Australia wide for this opportunity. We are also open to part-time and full time applicants for this position.

What you'll do:

  • Support study design, methodology and implementation of research projects to test AI products in clinical settings;
  • Perform data analysis, statistical evaluation, and construct ETL pipelines.
  • Frame complex medical problems into structured ontology trees to guide the labelling of medical data;
  • Support the product development team with user experience and requirements from a medical point of view;
  • Run retrospective and prospective studies in conjunction with our clinical partners in a scientific and ethical manner;
  • Support the quality assurance and regulatory team to develop clinical and statistical evidence to support the use of our products;
  • Write and submit publications to high impact journals; and
  • Comply with all company policies, procedures and guidelines including those relating to information security.
  • What will help you succeed:

  • MD or MBBS in the field of academic medicine, preferably with a strong quantitative / statistical theme,
  • Solid experience as a medical doctor; and
  • Strong technical coding and statistical skills, including proficiency in Python.
  • Nice to have (but not essential):

  • Proven track record of academic publishing in leading academic journals;
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to communicate deeply technical concepts to a non-technical audience;
  • Great organisation skills with the ability to thrive in a demanding environment;
  • Comfortable working in a collaborative scientific environment that operates using agile methodologies; and
  • A proven track record of delivering high profile, user-oriented solutions in a fast-paced environment.
