We have an awesome opportunity for an experienced Finance professional to join our finance team as a Finance Operations Senior Analyst. This role will be reporting into our Finance Manager, Operations.

You will be playing a key part in developing and building out the Finance Operations function at SafetyCulture. You will be helping the finance team to build process and systems for scale across multiple business units and international markets.

About you

  • 4-5 years of experience within finance and/or operations function. 
  • A Finance related degree, preferably a CA/ CPA/ CIMA/ CFA or equivalent. 
  • Experience in SaaS, specifically, relating to subscriptions and billing. 
  • Ability to follow and understand complex workflows between functions and systems. 
  • Direct experience in creating and driving automation of systems and processes. 
  • Tangible examples of a customer-first mindset.
  • ‘Can do’ attitude who is able to flex and effectively manage conflicting priorities. 
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to run projects effectively.
  • Ability to problem solve and think ‘outside of the box’.
  • Proven skills within Microsoft Excel to manipulate and summarise large data sets, including providing recommendations based on your analysis.
  • How you will spend your time

  • Resolving inefficiencies and drive automation within the Finance Operations function to achieve the desired outcomes.
  • Conducting research on industry best practice and market-leading Finance Operations, to determine what the business needs and how to implement and adopt these requirements. 
  • Enhancing and managing a SaaS product catalogue, providing the business flexibility to continue billing effectively as additional products and features are introduced.
  • Analysing and managing the reporting and movements of ARR and other customer-related SaaS metrics. 
  • Effectively managing projects, including developing project plans, connecting necessary functions and team members, identifying and problem-solving ‘blockers’ and taking responsibility for the overall execution of each project within the necessary timeframes. 
  • Business partnering with the Revenue and Accounts Receivable team, in addition to the wider Financial Accounting, FP&A, Strategy and Business Operations, Internal Analytics, Revenue Operations, GTM and Engineering teams to deliver on tasks and projects.
