The Role

Reporting to the Head of Commercial Operations, you will lead and drive our global sales operations function. Your responsibilities will range from Forecasting & Pipeline Analysis, Sales Process Design, System Optimisation and Project Management – requiring a mix of analytical insight, strong business acumen, and cross–functional collaboration with leaders in teams such as Sales, Marketing & Finance.

To be successful, you will need to get deep into (sometimes ambiguous) data so that you can understand the business thoroughly, rapidly diagnose issues and formulate solutions. First Principles Thinking, Intellectual curiosity, and a bias for action are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Build and lead a team of high performing Sales Operations Analysts
  • Own and drive a multi-region Sales Operations Program and Project Roadmap
  • Build and operate best practices in pipeline management and sales forecasting
  • Identify key opportunities for business improvement through analytics, quantitative insights, and good business sense
  • Assist with ad-hoc requests and projects from the sales organization

Requirements:

  • Develop, manage, and report on bookings, pipeline, forecasting, activity, productivity, LTV: CAC, conversion, close rates, average sales cycle and other KPI's.
  • Lead the team to design, develop and implement scalable, repeatable, consistent, predictable data-driven sales processes based on industry best practices.
  • Define objectives & key results (OKRS) to drive the teams to hit key operational milestones to increase productivity, acquisition and activation; make recommendations and drive actions based on strategic objectives, forecast or performance metrics.
  • Identify reporting issues, gaps in processes, and drive timely resolution. Build and standardize business reporting for strategic analysis and internal business reviews
  • Proactively identify and eliminate sales process bottlenecks and inconsistency; own and drive Salesforce administration with our Salesforce Administrator
  • Assist Sales Managers in all aspects of evaluating their teams’ performance.
  • Enhance sales productivity by enabling the team to work smarter by simplifying processes and evaluating new tools.
  • Create and maintain documentation on sales processes, policies, and relevant sales training materials and assist with onboarding new sales talent.
  • Own the end-to-end process of tracking the sales funnel and operational metrics and delivering regular insights to the business; define and deliver techniques to improve the funnel performance for sales management.
  • Partner with Sales leadership team to develop and implement strategies & tactics that improve the customer experience, sales productivity, internal NPS, process excellence, reporting and visibility, and scalable systems that support our rapid growth
  • Responsible for implementing tools, processes, systems, reporting, and playbooks that assist us in maximizing bookings by driving improvements in sales efficiency and effectiveness.

A Little More About You:

  • Experience working within a high-growth saas, technology company and proven success in sales operations.
  • 2 to 8 years of experience in a Sales, Sales Operations, program management role or similar role.
  • Deep understanding of SaaS sales cycles, sales process, and sales leader coaching
  • Experience in curriculum development a plus--you’ll own creation, delivery, and measuring the results of your training programs in a fast paced environment
  • Intimate knowledge of forecasting, pipeline analysis, demand generation, sales methodologies, reporting and analytics
  • Track record in driving changes and eliminating hurdles by working cross-functionally with Marketing, People & Talent, Finance and other departments.
  • Highly analytical with the ability to extract key business insights through data analysis.
  • Proven Salesforce subject matter expert with experience building dashboards and reports, optimizing SFDC process, training team members, etc. Certified Salesforce Administrator a plus
  • Exhibits sound business judgment, a proven ability to influence others, strong analytical skills, and a proven track record of taking ownership, leading data-driven analyses, and influencing results.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to operate successfully in a lean, fast-paced organization, and to create a vision and organization that can scale quickly.
  • Highly organized, have multi-tasking skills, and efficient in ambiguous situations.
  • Ability to define, refine and implement processes, procedures and guidelines.
  • Ability to understand high-level sales strategies, translate them into system and process requirements, and ensure local execution and business impact.
