This role will be primarily responsible for supporting Atlassian’s health, pension, risk insurances, perks, and wellness benefits in the Philippines, Australia, India, New Zealand, and Japan. You’ll work closely with the APAC Benefits Manager, brokers, vendors, and internal teams to help support our local and global benefit programs when required. You will have experience in benefits administration, communication of benefit programs, project and stakeholder management, benefits administration, and experience in supporting benefit rollouts. 

More about the role:

  • Support aspects of benefits administration, annual renewal process, and vendor management
  • Be proactive in driving employee engagement and participation through communication, education, and events
  • Assist with Team Anywhere and benefit related initiatives
  • Provide cross-functional team support for leave of absences, employee health & safety, and return to work programs
  • Work closely with People Operations and HRIS to help with compliance and operational excellence
  • Assist with policies and programs and provide recommendations to ensure programs are competitive and in compliance with legal requirements
  • Support with internal teams and third-party administrators to resolve employee issues and inquiries the first point of contact for second-tier queries
  • Facilitate employee onboarding and benefit education sessions
  • Understand local market practices standard methodologies
  • Work with the global benefits team on projects supporting the global benefits strategy and roadmap
  • More about you:

  • Proven experience in HR and benefits, preferably in high growth or corporate environments
  • Bachelor's’ degree in HR, Business, Finance or a related field
  • Proven knowledge of benefits practices, operations, and compliance
  • Validated analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Good judgement and discretion when dealing with sensitive information
  • Team player with an ability to work both collaboratively and asynchronously
  • Proven organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Appreciation for the fact that we work in a global environment that is constantly evolving and growing
