The role
As an IT Support Specialist in our Security & Business IT team, you will own the responsibility for providing effective and efficient internal technical support. You will work in a fast-paced environment with best-of-breed tools and technologies and contribute to new ideas and solutions within the team. You will:

  • Troubleshoot technical issues for team across Zip
  • Process technical support tickets and support office technology such as wall mounted monitors, video conference technologies etc.
  • Continuously look to improve our delivery process and quality
  • Administer set up of standard PC software/applications (i.e. Microsoft Office, Anti-Virus, Email, Instant Messaging, Drive Encryption, etc)
  • Troubleshoot and remediate remote connectivity issues including VPN and wireless networking
  • Implement Mobile Device Management (MDM) for Windows, MacBook, Android, and iOS devices
  • Build laptops and maintain our standard operating environment (SOE)
  • Work with HR, and Talent Acquisition to manage onboarding and offboarding of all staff
  • Your skills and experience:

  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10 and MacOS
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for all platforms (Windows, macOS, iOS, Android etc.)
  • Experience with Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange environments
  • Understanding of patch management & security controls
  • A passion for process improvement and finding ways to automate
  • A knack for problem solving along with an analytical mind-set
  • You enjoy working and collaborating with a range of stakeholders from all areas of the organization

  • Bonus points for:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related
  • Exposure to coding and scripting
