We are searching for a Head of Production to lead our Sydney and Perth Production Teams. Our production teams are accountable for the production and assembly of high-value, innovative and complex electronics equipment. You will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer.
In this role you will:
Manage the Production Team to build Advanced Navigation’s world leading, high-tech electronics productsBuild and grow a strong team culture aligned with our company valuesBalance your time between strategic initiatives and hands on support Drive improvements to Production productivity and scheduling systemsSchedule Production Team work to meet deadlines and optimise productivityManage the selection, training and development of the Production TeamsManage workshop layout, including effective production linesManage Production Equipment maintenance, calibration, and storageEnsure Production outputs meet Advanced Navigation quality standardsManage and maintain Production data for resource planningPartner with the Production Engineering Team for technical inputs to ProductionEngage Senior Leadership to ensure inputs to Production are availableReport Production KPIs as required by the CEO and Management Team
You should have/be:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical discipline3+ years reporting to senior management3+ years managing a small teamFamiliarity with IPC-A-610 and ISO 9001:2015Familiarity with an ERP tool, such as Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce or SAP.Exposure to WHS practicesThe ability to manage a high volume of information and multiple project schedulesBe highly motivated with an energetic, responsive and decisive disposition.Proven high standard of attention to detail, time management and “follow-through”
