We are searching for a Head of Production to lead our Sydney and Perth Production Teams. Our production teams are accountable for the production and assembly of high-value, innovative and complex electronics equipment. You will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer.

In this role you will:

  • Manage the Production Team to build Advanced Navigation’s world leading, high-tech electronics products
  • Build and grow a strong team culture aligned with our company values
  • Balance your time between strategic initiatives and hands on support 
  • Drive improvements to Production productivity and scheduling systems
  • Schedule Production Team work to meet deadlines and optimise productivity
  • Manage the selection, training and development of the Production Teams
  • Manage workshop layout, including effective production lines
  • Manage Production Equipment maintenance, calibration, and storage
  • Ensure Production outputs meet Advanced Navigation quality standards
  • Manage and maintain Production data for resource planning
  • Partner with the Production Engineering Team for technical inputs to Production
  • Engage Senior Leadership to ensure inputs to Production are available
  • Report Production KPIs as required by the CEO and Management Team
  • You should have/be:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical discipline
  • 3+ years reporting to senior management
  • 3+ years managing a small team
  • Familiarity with IPC-A-610 and ISO 9001:2015
  • Familiarity with an ERP tool, such as Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce or SAP.
  • Exposure to WHS practices
  • The ability to manage a high volume of information and multiple project schedules
  • Be highly motivated with an energetic, responsive and decisive disposition.
  • Proven high standard of attention to detail, time management and “follow-through”
