Join Prezzee as a Part-Time Tax Manager!

As Prezzee continues to expand globally, managing our tax obligations is critical. This hands-on, standalone role offers you the opportunity to directly manage our tax compliance while also shaping how we handle these obligations as we grow.

This is a Permanent part-time (equivalent to 3 days per week) with hours tailored to your preferences. We accommodate family commitments and school hours, though occasional after-hours work may be required to collaborate with teams in the UK and US.

The Role

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will be responsible for taking charge of day-to-day tax operations, with the potential to influence longer-term strategies as our global footprint expands. Key responsibilities include: 

Tax Compliance and Filings

  • Manage all tax filings across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Work with global tax advisors to meet compliance obligations and address complex tax issues.
  • Support regional finance teams with routine filings and help implement our transfer pricing framework.

Hands-On Tax Management

  • Take responsibility for day-to-day tax operations, from preparing and submitting tax returns to managing tax audits.
  • Provide practical tax advice to internal stakeholders, guiding them through the tax implications of business decisions.

Process Improvement

  • Continuously enhance tax processes, implementing efficient practices and staying informed on new obligations.

What You Bring

  • Self-Motivation: As the sole tax expert, you’ll take full ownership of all tax functions, managing them independently while supporting the business.
  • Strong Organisational Skills: You’ll be responsible for managing tax obligations across global jurisdictions, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Effective Communication: Ability to clearly communicate complex tax matters to stakeholders across different time zones.
  • Experience and Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
    • CA or CPA qualified.
    • Experience in a growing business, with a focus on tax reporting and compliance.
