Position Summary

We’re looking for a learning experience designer that is excited by the opportunity to join a newly formed learning experience team that's helping users across 20 countries. The learning experience team is responsible for help centre articles and tools, in-product experiences, learning paths, academy toolkits and playbooks, videos, use-case scenarios, workflow learning, learning campaigns, social learning and many more exciting projects.

We are seeking a curious, creative, adaptable and ‘hands-on’ learning experience designer to help us design, write and develop compelling and targeted learning experiences for different media, formats and projects. You have a passion for finding innovative ways to motivate users to learn new skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research and collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to analyse needs and identify simple and powerful solutions to address needs.
  • Learn both the ROLLER platform itself and how it helps our customers to be successful.
  • Design, write, develop and update a variety of digital experiences (eg videos, animations, guided walkthroughs, short sims, articles, diagrams, infographics and chat bot flows).
  • Write clear, friendly and concise copy, instructions, video scripts and storyboards, and explain complex concepts simply and succinctly using visuals as well as words.
  • Leverage new technologies and innovative practices to increase the efficiency and scalability of our processes and solutions.
  • Measure and analyse the impact of learning resources, and continuously improve resources to better meet customer and organizational needs.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • You will bring at least 3-5 years’ experience as a learning experience designer, collaborating closely with product specialists, subject matter experts and users to understand needs - ideally in a SaaS product environment.
  • You have a strong grasp of adult learning design principles and practices and enjoy sharing knowledge and ideas across teams.
  • You possess excellent communication skills and are able to solicit and synthesize feedback from multiple sources.
  • You excel in executing projects independently and alongside your team, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines in a rapidly changing environment.
  • You have experience using a variety of tools including content authoring and video/audio editing tools. You have a knowledge of HTML/CSS, image editing skills and animation experience.
  • You have strong copy editing and attention to detail skills, making text friendlier and easier to read, using a tone of voice and language that embodies our brand.
  • You are familiar with different learning and content management systems.
