The role is a great position within the Marketing team, with plenty of room to grow into our Digital Analytics expert, supported by the existing data team. This is an exciting opportunity to work across Marketing, Sales and Product at Brighte, learn quickly and learn plenty from some of the brightest minds in the sector (pun intended). We are looking for someone who is ready to quickly adapt to an everchanging role description, and wear multiple hats to tackle the wide variety of challenges we meet every day in a fast-growing business. The core skills required are in web and app analytics, but SQL is a must for our Data people, so if you don’t know it, be ready to learn it.
What you'll do
Maintain and grow our Google Tag Manager infrastructure and our Google Analytics reports;Become an integral part of the testing process, where you will come up with ideas and help analyse A/B/X tests;Collaborate closely with our technical partners at Google and Facebook in the advertising space;Review campaign performance statistics, analyse and identify primary drivers of conversions;Provide actionable insights and recommendations on how to optimise marketing spend.Extract data from our SQL database for analytics purposes;Build ad-hoc reports in Tableau or similar;Setup well-designed experiments to test messaging, channel, content, and other parameters in marketing campaigns, including setting up appropriate control groups.
Who you are
1-2 years’ experience in implementing and maintaining Google Analytics for reporting and Google Tag Manager to set up tracking with analytics.js (including cross-domain tracking), Facebook pixel, and similar;Web and app data analytics (e.g. landing page analysis, funnel analysis).Experience with writing intermediate-level SQL queries (we’re talking handling multiple levels of data granularity with CTEs, subqueries and/or window functions, and handling data across multiple tables with all the JOIN flavours);Consulting experience, especially in Data Analytics and/or IT;Experience in the financial services, renewable energy, and/or home renovations sectors;Experience in working with CDP platforms and tools such as Segment, Tealium, SuperMetrics;Experience in working with eCommerce websites with a high volume of organic and paid traffic.
