The core remit of the GTM Specialist is to provide Stax with a tried and tested blueprint for effectively positioning a service or solution to a target segment. The GTM Specialist solves for “connecting customer needs to Stax’s unique capabilities” through the formulation and delivery of Unique Value Propositions to high propensity market segments.

This is a newly created role to help the company implement a more structured, common process around taking our products and services to market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • GTM strategy development and execution, encompassing the development of market positioning, customer key messaging and Unique Value Propositions, collateral and promotional plans
  • Source and develop market / industry / competitor insights and help the business to define target segments, the GTM model / channels, the promotional mix and understanding the buyer’s journey
  • Generate brand awareness / thought leadership / credibility in the target segments, including generating public profiles for Stax subject matter experts / spokespeople. Help to ensure the Stax reputation and branding are enhanced.
  • Collaborate with the Partner Marketing Manager on joint GTM initiatives with strategic partners (e.g. f5, AWS, Snowflake, Ping Identity, N2WS)
  • Generate Marketing Qualified Leads for sales per growth / business development priorities, ensuring data quality and timeliness for sales action. Ensure success and growth in lead conversion statistics.
  • Leverage marketing automation platform to enhance Stax’s digital assets (website, social media platforms) / campaigns / omni-channel marketing / search marketing performance. Be proactive in driving better approaches to continue to optimise the impact of marketing initiatives.
  • Content marketing – plan and manage rich content / assets, such as case studies, thought leadership articles, interactive digital tools, blogs, whitepapers, eBooks, reports, infographics and videos – to drive lead conversion and engagement
  • Manage / create / curate customer-engagement content, either developed in-house (with Stax’s Designer) or outsourced
  • Skill Requirements:

  • Extensive experience with end-to-end ownership of marketing strategy development and execution
  • Aptitude and willingness to learn new skills and to flexibly ‘fill the gaps’ for the small Marketing team. An adaptable, approachable and supportive team player.
  • Excellent written communications skills (both for business and technical audiences).  Understand SEO and keywords for the purpose of optimising copywriting.
  • Self-directed and reliable. Able to work autonomously, managing multiple concurrent tasks and deadlines, and being proactive in ideating / helping others within the company / customer / partner community.
  • Conversant with marketing automation software (Marketo, HubSpot, Pardot)
  • Experience with creating and managing content, including SEO impacts and analytics on a Content Management System (preferably WordPress)
  • Proficient user of a Customer Relationship Management database (preferably Salesforce), for campaign tracking, lead nurturing / profiling and marketing performance / customer analytics.
  • Intermediate Google Analytics (or other web analytics service) skills
  • Budget management including ROI effectiveness
  • Understanding and experience in international markets
  • Experience in cloud technology
  • Experience working with distribution channels for SaaS
