The Franchise Team is a newly created function within the Tyro Customer Team to drive growth and increased customer experience within our franchise business portfolio. This newly created team will be given the mandate to change the way we work with our franchise businesses, empowered to create a more efficient and effective working structure which will deliver results for our franchise customers and for Tyro.

You will be responsible for establishing, growing and servicing a portfolio of franchise businesses.You will identify opportunities where Tyro’s existing product suite will add value to both the customer and to Tyro.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop the franchise group strategy for a portfolio of franchises:
  • Develop an account plan for franchise groups with key contacts/influencers and saturation strategies for the specific group.
  • Develop a project plan for each franchise group noting an engagement plan, required collateral. etc.
  • Build relationships with franchise business head office stakeholders.
  • Engage and develop relationships with franchise state mangers and franchisee influencers.
  • Work with internal marketing teams to create collateral and send out to individual franchises.
  • Track saturation/growth within the portfolio across each individual franchise group.
  • Manage rate discussions with franchise groups to continue to drive saturation within the franchise network.
  • Introduce relevant Tyro products to head office, confirm relevance for franchisees and develop a plan for promotion to the franchisee network.
  • Develop and understand franchise needs specific to each brand if multiple brands under one group.
  • Work with franchise head office to understand and identify their franchisees needs and any friction points within their existing franchisee network from a payments and banking perspective.
  • Collaborate with the Franchisee Manager by feeding back any/all relevant insights from head office relationships that will increase growth or customer experience within the franchisee network.
  • About you:

  • B2B sales experience
  • Enterprise relationship management experience (with franchise businesses preferred)
  • Have experience managing relationships with retail and hospitality businesses in relation to a technology product
  • Have an enthusiasm for customer service and sales
  • Have a keen attention to detail and follow-up
  • Have experience managing multiple task, identifying priorities and can operate with excellent time management.
  • Experience building strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to drive outcomes for their business and its customers.
  • Have loads of initiative and don’t shy away from a challenge. A self-starter.
