About the role

The ANZ Marketing team is responsible for driving growth for the Australian and New Zealand business by acquiring and engaging consumer and merchant customers. 

The Partner Marketing team drives business and consumer growth through strategic and merchant partnerships, and delivers value to merchants by connecting them with new and existing Zip customers through highly creative marketing campaigns.

Reporting to the Assoc. Director Partner Marketing, your core role will be to drive acquisition and growth for both Zip and merchant partners, through effective, innovative and inspiring marketing activities. 

You'll also

  • Build best-in-class relationships and engage with senior marketing personnel at key merchant partners
  • Support the development of marketing plans across key verticals to deliver growth for Zip and merchant partners
  • Manage the end to end delivery of partner marketing campaigns inclusive of strategy, execution, measurement, reporting and optimisation 
  • Work with the brand and campaigns team to deliver awesome retail campaigns and brand activations to help grow our merchant partners
  • Partner with the creative team to develop processes and playbooks to drive best in class creative, in the most efficient way
  • Work closely with our core marketing teams (including brand and campaigns, social, CRM, performance & research) plus the product, commercial and data & analytics teams to deliver highly creative and data driven campaigns that drive new customer acquisition and revenue growth for both Zip and partners
  • Develop clear business cases and ROMI for initiatives
  • Share learnings with ANZ marketing teams, global partner marketing teams and wider business
  • Manage and develop two awesome direct reports to be the best they can be in their roles, supporting you to execute brilliantly
  • Support the Assoc. Director Partner Marketing with other requirements from time to time
  • To help us level up, you’ll bring:

  • Tertiary qualification in marketing or related field preferred
  • 5 - 10 years marketing experience
  • Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills
  • Previous success driving strategy, execution and measurable results in both owned and paid channels
  • Natural curiosity to identify the key problems our partners are facing and how Zip can respond strategically
  • Strong commercial acumen, an analytical and data-driven approach to solving customer and business problems
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and initiatives at one time
  • Experience working in a fast paced, ambiguous environment with changing priorities
  •  Strong attention to detail, clarity and accuracy
