Fresh Equities provides access to listed capital raises for institutions, family offices and high net worth individuals. We participate in more than 400 transactions a year across all sectors and sizes, offering investors more choice and issuers greater awareness.

We saw an endless number of quality, engaged investors missing out on offers because they were on the wrong list on the right day. There are high-conviction investors in the market for every company, but they don’t always have the right networks.

We started Fresh to help these investors - from institutions to individuals - get broader access to companies they care about.

By centralising access to capital raises and working with companies to deliver insights, we ensure that every investor makes it onto the right list at the right time.

Fresh is growing quickly, and the challenge will be ensuring we can continue to deliver on and exceed expectations on our clients’ experiences across our entire investor base.

As a result of this exciting growth we are looking to expand our team!

The Opportunity

We are looking for an investor associate to join our investor experience team.

You will be taking ownership of our investor’s experience and play a pivotal role in building the foundations of the investors’ relationship with Fresh.

You will assist in onboarding new investors; executing capital transactions and guiding investors through the deal process. Part of your role will be to front-run the product, helping to find and execute strategies that help exceed our investors’ expectations.

This is a perfect fit for someone with exceptional operational, administrative and communication skills with an interest in capital markets, finance and FinTech start-ups.

The Journey

Within 3 Months

  • Get to know the ins and outs of ASX listed capital raises (placements, Share purchase plans, entitlement offers, etc.)· Receive training and build an understanding of the user’s experience and journey across the product from end to end (onboarding, deals, settlements)· Assist in daily operations and administrative activities as required

Within 6 Months

  • Have fluency and responsibility over investor experience associated operational & administrative tasks· Begin to take ownership of investors experiences across the product from end to end· Assist the investor experience team in continuously refining and improving our processes and client service

Investor experience team

Our Investor Experience team is a small group of generalists, who work with our investors to support them in their use of the product from end to end. The team owns the experience and works closely alongside the product team to constantly refine the processes.

You will be joining as a dedicated investor associate directly on the frontlines helping to drive the investor’s experience from end to end, and channel valuable feedback for the product team to use in continuously improving the experience.

What We're Looking For

Some things we are looking for in you:

  • At least 1 year of relevant experience in customer success / service and relationship management - ideally in the financial services industry.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to liaise with investors and key personnel in other financial service firms.
  • A proactive approach to problem solving - if you see something that could be better, let us fix it and do it together.
  • Exceptional attention to detail - we work on big transactions with tight deadlines, accuracy of communication is critical
  • Comfortable with basic excel formulas, familiarity with SQL queries is highly valuable
  • An interest in working in a fast-paced start-up environment and the ability to hustle. We are not a traditional financial services firm!
