About the role

In this role, you will be responsible for managing multiple SPV Trusts providing modelling, accounting and reporting support while liaising and maintaining external stakeholder relationships. The role will be responsible for trust management, including cash flow management and reconciliation, investor reporting, covenant monitoring and reporting and month-end close.

This role will suit somebody with a passion for continual improvement and personal accountability to continue to evolve Zip’s internal Finance function.

In this role, you will own:

  • Preparation of monthly Trust determination models and other pool stratification reports
  • Monthly Trust receivable movement and closing balance reconciliation, and collateral reports
  • Preparation of Trust fees calculations and instructions for interest distribution
  • Preparation of the debt investor presentations including Yield, Payment Rate, Charge Off Rate, Purchase Rate, Gross Receivables, etc.
  • Cashflow analysis of trust accounts, forecasting upcoming funding drawdown requirements
  • Timely month-end close and associated Balance Sheet reconciliations
  • Investigations of any end of month reporting variances
  • Contributions to the evolution & continuous improvement of Zip’s finance processes & procedure
  • Your skills:

  • Around 5 years trust accounting or trust management experience
  • Sound knowledge of current financial markets
  • Cashflow management experience
  • Advanced level Excel skills
  • Ability to ask the hard questions and investigate and solve problems
  • A passion for process improvement
  • A true collaborator who likes working as part of an ambitious team
  • Bonus points for:

  • Prior experience in the Fintech or Payments Industry 
  • Experience with Xero and/or Calumno Reporting
