About the Job

Our Loan Servicing systems and processes are at the centre of what we do as we seek to broaden the provision of fair credit to all Australians.  These systems are the source of truth for all customer loan transactions and activity from the point a Loan is approved and settled - including incoming and outgoing Payments, Portfolio Management with our loan funders, Collections, and key inputs into our financial statements. 

As our Loan Servicing operations continue to grow in volume, team size and complexity, this role will be instrumental in driving and implementing effective change across processes and systems to ensure scalability and reliability. This will also be a key part in gearing up our Loan Servicing operations teams for growth and success over the coming years.

By working closely with a cross-functional squad encompassing our Product Owner, Engineering, Data, Operational and Finance team as well as using your solid experience across Data, Process Improvement, Systems and Finance, you’ll be evaluating, making recommendations, and implementing new processes and technology across Loan Servicing, Portfolio Management and Collections. 

As we continue to grow, in the future, this may also extend out to our Accounting Systems, Payment Gateways, and Customer Dashboard / UX.

Some of your key responsibilities include:
- Process mapping, verification, and documentation as part of loan servicing systems design and implementation.
- Assisting with ongoing process improvement projects and redesign
- Building and implementing greater self-service capabilities for internal operations teams and external customers 
- Working with the Data team in building data warehouse mapping and enhanced reporting and insights for the Loan Servicing, Portfolio Management and Collections teams
- Assisting with system design, data migration, testing and implementation for a new core Loan Servicing Application and Collections System
- Working with end users to review and validate test scenarios and results
- Working with the Accounting & Finance teams in scoping Accounting System processes, limitations and future requirements for scalability and more accurate inputs from the Loan Servicing Application 
- Working closely with scoping and gathering requirements for ad-hoc projects and user requirements (e.g. CRM)
- Assisting with user training and SOP documentation for new systems and processes
- Actively participating in all scrum ceremonies.

About You

You are a highly analytical Analyst with a strong background working on technology-powered products, ideally in Fintech. Backed by amazing communication and problem solving skills, you have the ability to extract information from a number of internal stakeholders, ensuring all details are documented correctly.

You’ll also have/be:
- Ambitious with a high attention to detail and highly analytical with excellent problem solving skills.
- An agile learner and highly adaptive and curious - you love looking for solutions.
- Significant experience working on technology-powered products (ideally FinTech) as either a product manager / owner, engineer, data analyst or business analyst. 
- Proven ability to engage with engineers and operational staff of various levels in a constructive and collaborative relationship.
- A tertiary qualification or equivalent practical experience required.
