Brighte are looking for an exceptional Credit Underwriter Commercial / Vendor Accreditation Assessor to join the Operations team. The role will be responsible for evaluating financial information and risks as well as making decisions on loan grants of unsecured Commercial credit applications the role will also aid with vendor accreditations where needed.
What you'll do
Assessment of Commercial credit applications with delegated underwriting authority in accordance with Company policies and with the commercial risk environmentManaging all aspects of the Commercial credit underwriting process within delegated lending authority – including verifying application data, analysing credit reports, property searches and researching businesses, financial analysis where neededAssess and review the credit and fraud risk of vendors applying for accreditation.Ensure applications are compliant.Manage daily workflow for commercial credit analysis to ensure all SLAs are adhered to.Act as primary point of escalation between sales management and credit departmentProvide sound, high quality recommendations to management on complex commercial deals.Increase the efficiency and accuracy of our processes through automation and assist in drafting risk policies.Support Head of Credit Operations and/or Senior Credit & Manager in relation to any project or ad hoc mattersAssist colleagues through knowledge sharing
