The Role

The objective of the Partnerships Assistant is to ensure timely set-up of products and deals for upcoming events. Focused on ensuring the correct deal information is handed over to the Online Merchandising team.

In order to generate sales, MyDeal runs regular sale events. This includes:

  • 2 x daily eDMs that consist of one or more
    • Multi product promotions (e.g. free shipping frenzy, best of month)
    • Single product promotions
  • 2-3 new promotions that are promoted on the homepage
    • Multi product promotions (e.g. free shipping frenzy, best of month)
    • Single product promotions
    • Store Wide Coupons
    • Advertising
  • Ad hoc SMS campaigns
  • Desktop push notifications
  • Mobile push notifications


  • Communicating with sellers regarding their secured event date and deal confirmation – ensuring that all product, pricing and event information is locked in.
  • Ensuring the deal pipeline has all accurate content for the Online Merchandise team input in a timely manner.
  • Ensuring all event and deal information is presented accurately on the website.
  • Coordination of promotional codes and/or price drops prior to event commencement.
  • Responding to seller queries regarding upcoming promotional activitie s and opportunities.
  • Ensure the Online Merchandise team include all required assets and branding into events and ensure these are communicated on for each brief.
  • Maintaining an accurate record of all deals, pricing and performance.
  • Performing competitor price checks and market reviews to ensure our deals are the best in the market.


  • Basic understanding of Excel functions; (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables etc.)
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
  • Proven problem solving skills
