Our Orange, NSW development centre has led the way with building our culture and our products for the last ten years. Now with development teams in NZ and the UK, we are looking to take the Phocas DNA that has built groundbreaking and widely adopted Data and Analytics products across ANZ, Europe and the United States and build the next generation of complementary products to take us to the next level.
To do this, we’re growing a world-class team (with ambitous growth plans this and next year in both locations) with an R&D focus. Working with a brand new serverless tech stack we have also sought to redefine what a world-class product team looks like.
This is NOT a testing role: We are looking for a software engineer that is tired of launching buggy products, where every step forward is dogged by errors and backlog tickets. The ideal person for this role will be one who daily feels “there must be a better way, I’d build it if I had time and resources”.
In this role, you’ll have that time and those resources. In fact, we’ll pay you well to do it.
You’ll be looking at the daily problems your fellow software engineers in New Zealand, the UK and Australia encounter and automating solutions for them. Another key part of the role is you will be the educator on quality practices: researching, trying, breaking and introducing new tooling and practices – building them if they don’t exist to your satisfaction already.
