Warm and friendly Intake Officer required for Sonder, a progressive and holistic wellbeing company that is supported by a high-tech platform, the first of its kind.

The opportunity

Become part of our thoughtful and intelligent Psychology team. The team is supported by a highly regarded Medical Director, a very experienced Principal Clinical Psychologist, as well as a team of very skilled nurses and support coordinators.

You will provide triage and case management services to adults and young people who reach out to the service with mental health issues. 

In this role, you will:

  • Review member case notes, then provide triage and case management services for our members
  • Manage health care information in MediRecords
  • Contact members to organise / reschedule appointments.
  • Ensure all referral information is accurately recorded and communicated to relevant key stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Consult with other health and wellbeing providers (internal and external to Sonder) to assist in the implementation of individual management plans for members.
  • Provide clinical mental health input for case reviews.

Who we’re looking for

The right applicant will be a warm and engaging team player, who is empathetic and strives for continuous improvement. It is important to us that we find a like-minded team member who is passionate about member-centred care.

The ideal candidate will have the following experience:

  • Qualification such as an Enrolled Nurse, or other relevant tertiary qualification within the NSW Health Professionals Award. 
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency for Registered Nurses. 
  • Demonstrated experience working with consumers who are diagnosed with mental health issues
  • Able to effectively prioritise and organise own work / caseload.

  • Ability to engage members effectively through a warm, friendly and respectful manner.
