As a Digital Marketer, you will work with a team of marketing professionals at the absolute top of their fields. You will support our search engine marketing initiatives and play a crucial role in helping the business achieve its growth targets.


What key responsibilities does this role have @ Koala?

  • Perform daily optimisation tasks for paid search, which includes but not limited to creating new campaigns, keyword research and expansion, implementing bid strategies, audience segment optimisation, and ad copy optimisation
  • Execute tests, collect and analyse data, identify trends and insights in order to achieve maximum ROI in paid search campaigns
  • Manage campaign expenses, staying on budget, estimating monthly costs and reconciling discrepancies
  • Work with the agency, the digital team and the brand communications team to create high-quality content for SEO and ensure that all content is in line with SEO best practice
  • Keeping an eye on the latest search engine algorithm changes 
  • Perform keyword discovery, expansion and optimisation both for SEO and PPC
  • Produce detailed campaign analysis. Provide sound and relevant recommendations based on campaign performance and insights
  • Manage the day-to-day activities surrounding the company's affiliate programme, which includes monitoring affiliate performance, commission validation and supporting affiliate campaigns
  • Communicate with new and existing affiliates regarding upcoming promotions and optimization opportunities
  • Support the evaluation of potential digital partnership opportunities for their strategic and financial value and provide analytics in support of the opportunities
  • Support the development and negotiation of partnerships by working with various internal stakeholders and relationships with strategic partners

Ideal background...

  • At least 3 years of experience in PPC or SEO or paid media campaign management
  • A good understanding of how search engine marketing fits in to the wider area of digital marketing
  • Exposure to affiliate marketing preferred 
  • Strong analytical skills and communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Knowledge of either Microsoft Excel or Google sheets, and is able to manipulate data using either or both platforms
  • Ability to think creatively
  • SEO copywriting or editing skills preferred, but not required
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics preferred, but not required
