100bn was spent on in-game items last year. $0 went to players. We believe that games should provide more than just entertainment value for the time and money invested. At Immutable, we are combining blockchain technology and gaming expertise to solve this problem. Specifically, blockchain allows players to truly own their in-game items and to sell items for real money. Our goal is to create a technology platform where developers can easily integrate blockchain into their games.
Our game, Guild of Guardians is made for players who want games to be more than just entertainment, and who want to play a free mobile RPG where they can turn their gaming passion into assets by trading heroes and items for real money.
A bit about the role:
We are seeking a Social Media and Content Manager who will be responsible for owning and executing parts of the overall social media strategy for Guild of Guardians.
As our Social Media and Content Manager, you will take ownership of content production, social media management, and conveying the brand narratives for an exciting up-and-coming crypto gaming project. If you are a social media guru looking for a high impact role with significant autonomy, this could be the role for you!
You will have the opportunity to:
Create professional content (i.e. blogs, social media assets, tweets, newsletters) that consistently position Guild of Guardians as an industry-leading NFT gaming projectHelp develop, implement and ultimately manage our Twitter strategyExecute an agreed strategy, using tools as appropriate such as Awario, TweetDeck, and the Adobe SuiteDevelop processes for social media engagement and content creationAssist with responding to all DM’s, emails, and enquiries, as we scale up our customer service teamWork with freelancers to create assets, templates, graphics, and videos to contribute to our growing social media accountsCreate and write longer-form blog content which pushes the Guild of Guardians narrativePost mortem analysis of social media activities and campaigns to both quantitatively and qualitatively define success, track KPIs, and identify and implement areas of improvementIdentify opportunities to improve our social media strategy and grow the team, with opportunities to lead all content and social media for a $100m+ game
We would love you to have:
A track record of massively growing Twitter accounts (personal or otherwise) and break out ‘above the noise’Exceptional writing skills, and the proven ability to craft compelling narratives in long-form contentProven interest in NFTs, NFT ‘Twitter’ culture and/or gaming culture, OR the ability to rapidly upskill in these areas
Some extra skills that would be awesome:
Familiarity with content creation tools (e.g. the Adobe Suite, Mailchimp, Medium and TweetDeck)
