The Talent Experience (TX) team here at Xero plays an integral role in working closely with both the business and the wider talent community to ensure we are attracting, assessing and engaging exceptional talent in line with the Xero Values. About the Role
Fixed Term - 12 month Contract

As Xero’s next Talent Experience Manager you will play a pivotal role in ensuring Xero delivers on its hiring objectives in the region.  In addition to nurturing and developing a growing Talent Experience team based in Melbourne and Singapore, you will play a central role on our global TX Leadership team and contribute to the evolution of the function in building and driving world class talent acquisition strategies and practices.

You will achieve this through 

People Leadership: Engaging, leading, coaching, and developing the AU & Asia Talent Experience team to ensure the delivery of not only great hiring outcomes but also a great employee experience helping grow and nurture the individuals in the team. 

Strategic Talent Leadership: Actively contribute as a member of the Talent Experience Leadership Team to ensure we have prioritisation and consistency across the globe.

Stakeholder Management:  Educating, advising and supporting a variety of stakeholder groups.  Including but not limited to Talent Operations, People Experience, Finance and of course our community of people leaders across the business. 

Brand ambassadorship: Be a brand ambassador for Xero, articulate our story, represent us and identify employer branding opportunities both internally and externally

Candidate Experience:  Work closely with the talent team to ensure all candidates receive best-in-class candidate experience, while utilising feedback survey outcomes and data insights to identify improvement opportunities.  

The Evolution of TX at Xero: participate in global projects and assist in the continued growth of the Talent team globally.

About You
Overall we are looking for someone who is a passionate people leader with a comprehensive understanding of the full recruitment life cycle. 
You will also see yourself as someone who possesses: 
- Empathetic, emotionally intelligent, and outcome based people leadership skills 
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, influencing and negotiation skills 
- The ability to thrive on the ambiguity and change that comes from working in a high-growth environment
- The ability to effectively balance high-level strategic work with hands-on/operational tasks
- Strong presentation and delivery skills

What You'll Bring With You
Ideally you will also have experience in: 
- Leading a high performing inhouse talent experience team 
- Managing relationships with senior stakeholders (ideally in a fast growth, large matrix, global business)
- Senior stakeholder management with the ability to influence senior leaders and quickly develop credibility and trust
- Championing of data-driven insights balanced with an instinct for improvement 
- Problem-solving – you’re able to think critically through unique problems and quickly implement a path to a solution,
