Reporting to the People Operations Manager, this diverse role will see you owning all aspects of property, facilities, and in-office experience for Airwallex’s Australian-based team.

Responsibilities:

  • Meet & greet visitors, coordinate incoming and outgoing deliveries
  • Space management, property projects, and fit-outs
  • Manage vendor relationships, contracts, budgets, and billing
  • Coordinate repairs and maintenance
  • Maintain office safety and security
  • Act as the COVID-19 Officer for Airwallex AU
  • Ensure workplace safety and security at all times
  • Maintain office supplies inc. our very well-stocked snack cupboards
  • Coordinate in-office events, and other people-focused initiatives
  • Be the go-to for our team and visitors on all workplace experience matters
  • Support People projects, as required
  • Who you are:

  • You are execution oriented, with good instincts for anticipating needs and changes 
  • You are maniacal about detail and organisation; an expert manager of priorities

  • You are reliable, understanding that your punctuality and presence supports a positive experience for the Airwallex team
  • You can maintain total discretion on all matters, confidential or otherwise, business or personal 
  • You work collaboratively with people at all levels and across functions and cultures.
  • You have good judgement and are able to meet challenges with a sense of calm and confidence
  • Skills and experience you bring:

  • 4+ years of facilities and/or office management experience (experience in tech or start-up environments is preferred, but not essential)
  • Proven experience managing property projects 
  • Comfortable with all forms of start-up communication including Slack
  • Proficiency in Google Suite
  • Outstanding communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality required.
