EzyCollect is an Australian-founded B2B startup on a mission to eliminate late payments! We put smart technology in the hands of ambitious businesses, so they have the cash and confidence to manifest their dreams. Our invoice-to-payments subscription software complements accounting/ERP software (MYOB, Xero, NetSuite, SAP etc.) to automate the process of getting paid. We are expanding our products and services as well as our team! We are a team of over 60 across Australia, Brazil, and the Philippines and are looking to hire those with curiosity and grit who get excited about having a big impact in a growing startup. We have some exciting plans for the future, with an IPO and international expansion expected in 2022.

As our product keeps expanding, so does the need to attract more amazing people to our team. Our long-term focus depends heavily on the talent we bring on board and therefore, our People Team is looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join. In this role, you will be able to build upon the foundations of our Talent Acquisition framework, whilst also having the flexibility to leave your own unique footprint. This is a very independent and autonomous role, working closely together with the Head of People and other people leaders in the businesses. Your success will directly contribute to the business success as you fuel ezyCollect's rapid growth.

The Role

  • You will own the recruitment process end-to-end by profiling, identifying, attracting, and assessing both active and passive candidates and guide them on their journey to become part of the ezyCollect future
  • You will share our story, vision, and culture with prospective candidates and act as a brand ambassador when representing ezyCollect and job opportunities in the external marketplaces
  • You will be posting job ads on different channels and be doing screening, conducting first interviews (phone screen and video interviews), and assessing and presenting to hiring managers
  • Work closely with the Head of People and with people leaders to understand the hiring needs and help execute recruitment strategies for each position
  • Working with external agencies in different regions across the world
  • Maintaining and updating the internal ATS with accurate data and information
  • Pipeline candidates for ezyCollect’s ongoing and future talent requirements
  • Providing advice on current market changes and trends
  • Expand your network by attending relevant (virtual) meetups, conferences, networking events etc.
  • Role Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years relevant experience in an internal (or agency) recruiter position, within a tech startup environment
  • Good experience with ATS (Lever), LinkedIn recruiter, and other job boards like SEEK, Indeed, etc.
  • Outstanding English communication skills; you are comfortable writing job descriptions, email templates, engaging in candidate correspondence, and managing internal communication across the team
  • Proven capacity to develop and maintain successful stakeholder relationships across the business and different stakeholders and the ability to build collaborative relationships with other departments
  • Solid understanding of SaaS companies and the tech startup space in Sydney
  • The ability to prioritise tasks efficiently and have high attention to detail
  • You are a real people person and you love what you do; you get a thrill from speaking to great talent and making them part of our community
  • Energetic, personable, and comfortable working under tight deadlines
  • You are passionate about delivering an awesome candidate experience and act as the primary voice and face of ezyCollect on the phone and in-person
  • Results-driven; you are resilient, optimistic, and passionate about our business results while never compromising candidate and team relationships
