We are looking to bring on a Digital Adoption Specialist to join our successful Product and Platform team. In this role, you will devise and deliver high-value in-product digital onboarding and adoption experiences that empower customers to quickly reach their ‘Aha’ moment when using our product.

With the over-arching goal of enabling self-serve onboarding, you will be responsible for driving and reporting on digital adoption goals to support a BI and Financial Planning & Analysis product suite that is confidently exploring new markets and models.

Your day to day will include:

  • Mapping, story boarding, writing and publishing customer-in-product digital adoption journeys and experiences
  • Devising 'trial’ onboarding experiences
  • Owning the prioritisation and decision-making around digital adoption content
  • Devising user adoption experiences to promote uptake to support growth and retention
  • Seeking out customer conversations and feedback
  • Collaborating with Product Managers, subject matter experts, Design team, Customer Success and Product Marketing to support a consistent customer experience across products
  • Finding creative ways to produce content that scales

Your success will help reduce time to value, enable successful self-serve onboarding and help customers feel good about using Phocas software. This will be a critical component supporting product-led growth in an exciting and expanding market.


With experience in a similar role for a software company, you have developed and delivered educational or informational material using at least one of the following: digital adoption platform, knowledge base, videos, learning management system (LMS), or face to face delivery.

You can demonstrate:

  • Examples of having turned complex or technical information into something that is easy to understand
  • The concept of incorporating thought leadership and time-to-value principles into learning or promotional material
  • Superior Plain English writing skills
  • Experience in web publishing or development, including using content management systems, and some experience with CSS and HTML
  • That you can solve customer problems
  • A track record building strong relationships across different parts of a business
  • Success in planning and executing on cross-functional projects to a deadline
  • Your ability self-manage multiple tasks at once, to a deadline and prioritise competing demands.

Experience working with Agile software development processes, and familiarity with UX design principles would be ideal. An understanding of P&A or xP&A and Phocas’ traditional market segments (distribution, manufacturing and retail), would be highly valued.
