API Implementation Specialist

Rezdy is the world’s leading independent B2B cloud-based booking and distribution platform in the Experiences sector. Chances are, if you’ve ever booked a tour or activity, you’ve interacted with Rezdy’s platform. 

On one hand, we help ‘experience’ operators, such as whale watching tours, cooking schools and amusement parks manage their bookings online and connect with a wide distribution network of  resellers. On the other hand, we help those looking for experiences and inventory to resell to expand their own customer offering, such as online travel agencies (OTAs), tourist information centres, hotel concierges and local travel agents. 

We’re a well established global ‘scale-up’. We launched in 2011 and now help thousands of suppliers and resellers in over 100 countries to get more bookings, save time and get connected to one another. 

We are on the hunt for an experienced API Integrations Specialist to help our larger partners get set up on our platform, implementing API’s and owning the process of successfully onboarding our users. This role is designed for someone who has the perfect balance of stellar project management and a strong technical mindset. The key to success in this role is having a customer-first approach as part of your DNA and a passion for tech. You’ll be focussed on delivering seamless API integration adoption and enablement through high quality customer interactions. 

The role:

  • Assist our global partners using your understanding of APIs.
  • Assist partners with troubleshooting/debugging all issues related to the building and testing of the API integration i.e. data/content abnormalities, connection issues etc.
  • Understand the customer's business and needs, and help them set up the perfect configuration in our system.
  • Maintain contact with the customer throughout their onboarding, actively working with them 1:1 to ensure maximum satisfaction.
  • Provide feedback - we want to hear your ideas and what customers are saying. We are collaborative by nature and love testing new ideas!

The right candidate will have the following skills and experience:

  • 2+ years of integration experience.
  • 2+ years of experience using API troubleshooting tools (i.e. Postman).
  • Extensive experience with API’s (HTTP, JSON, REST, Web API, SOAP, etc).
  • Extensive knowledge of project management methodologies and processes.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office, Google Suite  applications and project management tools.
  • Strong background in improving partner and user experience.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) by PMI an asset.
  • Experience in an Agile scrum environment an asset.
