About the role

An editor at Finder will possess a wide range of skills in editing, content improvement, content management and SEO. Within our crypto (80% of your time) and share trading (20%) niches, you will take on the main responsibility for ensuring our new content has covered every aspect of a topic as effectively as possible. You need to be able to edit articles about cryptocurrency and share trading knowledgeably and quickly for readers across the world, ensuring consistent levels of understanding, tone and completeness.

  • Working on crypto and share trading niches
  • Editing and rewriting article copy as it comes in from a range of writers to ensure it's clear and pitched at the right level
  • Giving feedback to writers for changes needed to articles to ensure they match the brief
  • Quick research on each article subject to ensure all the main points are covered off
  • Work with designer on ideas for explanatory diagrams based on the article

Desired Experience and Skills

  • Available for 30 to 40 hours per week
  • Finance experience aimed at a consumer audience (crypto expertise not required but an understanding is helpful).
  • Attention to detail and experience in a similar position.
