Atlassian is continuing to hire with all interviewing and on-boarding done virtually due to COVID-19. All new and existing Atlassians will continue to work from home until it’s safe to return to our offices. When our offices re-open, we will provide the choice to work from home or return to work in an office unless a job requirement makes it necessary for a particular role to be performed at an Atlassian office.
Atlassian helps teams everywhere change the world and our software is used by more than half of the Fortune 100 companies, connecting people with content and co-workers they need to get their jobs done, faster. Our products are revolutionising the software industry and helping teams collaborate and craft the magic that delivers their best work. Think NASA launching the Rover on Mars or Cochlear gifting those born deaf with the ability to hear, your work directly impacts the products they use to advance humanity!
Are you a strategic product problem solver who can bring teams together to tackle complicated problems and get stuff done? If so, we have an outstanding opportunity to set a new bar for Atlassian’s flagship product. We are looking for a Group Product Manager to join the Jira Shared Experience (JSE) team. This person will lead a key effort to improve Jira and make its power accessible to more customers. This platform team is made up of specialists who collaborate with the Jira family of products. It's a fun, hardworking team who all enjoy playing and working together to define the future of work management!
JSE is part of our Cloud Platform team that enables Atlassian products to help all teams to come together, collaborate, and control the way their work flows. This team is the foundation for Jira Service Management, Jira Software, Jira Core, Jira Align, and any future Atlassian product. We care deeply about helping our customers enable their teams to set up & configure projects, find & resume work, and move their work forward.
This is a chance to lead hardworking Product Managers and partner with peers in Engineering, Design, Content Design, Research & Insights, and Program Management to execute your vision. This leader will be working across many product teams to understand their needs and ensure our solutions scale, innovate, and delight our end users.
More about our team
Product Managers at Atlassian are responsible for the complete product offering, from early stage research and ideation, through to implementation and iteration based on key success metrics. We're dedicated to agile methodology and are believers in 'lean', which means we despise documentation for documentations sake. We are deeply ambitious and do our very best at all times to validate assumptions about our users, with various types of testing. We are not looking for product managers who just want to concentrate on one area, such as user research or visual design - we need you to be eager to deliver across the entirety of the product development lifecycle. We are keen for you to bring experience that you can impart on the rest of us but also have the interest to improve in many other skills, and be driven to constantly learn and improve.
Product development teams are led by a triad of team members - a product manager, a design lead, and engineering lead. We work collaboratively, with the product manager as the decision maker for product strategy, road map, and feature priorities.
