Our Operational Excellence is a growing team helping the business achieving the long term goals. The mission of the team is to bring logistic expertise, develop processes and engineering systems as well as guiding the business decisions based on supply chain analytics and 3D modelling.

What's involved...

We are looking for a Process Engineer to join the Operational Excellence Team, reporting to the Head of Operations Excellence. You will be able to perform engineering work to evaluate existing processes. Define and lead continuous improvement projects that are focused on process optimization in a large warehouse environment. You will also be able to identify opportunities for improvement, developing a project plan for implementing improvements and monitoring the new process to ensure it works as intended.

    • Develop and maintain Implementation Plans,
    • Plan and execute process trials, analyze data, and document results in support of implementation plan,
    • Track effectiveness of implemented solutions on a monthly basis,
    • Interface with internal and external customers and suppliers (raw material, equipment, and services)
    • Maintain appropriate balance of solution cost with problem frequency and severity
    • Support transfer of solutions to on-going operations through operator training and development of standard work instructions or troubleshooting guides, where applicable
  • Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams in support of continuous improvement activities
  • Revise control plans to ensure project gains and improvements are realized and maintained over time.
  • Support development efforts by providing feedback from root cause analysis
  • Collect historical data by using statistical analysis tools
  • Ensuring that all aspects of an operation or process meet specified regulations

About you...

  • Master’s degree in Engineering (mechanical or logistic preferred), Operations, Business Administration, or equivalent,
  • 1+ years of experience in the job offered or related environment such as Continuous Improvement Engineer, Logistic Engineer, Industrial Engineer, in a large-scale environment,
  • 3D and 2D drawings skills (beginner level) in any industrial design softwares (Sketchup preferred),
  • Creative and open mindset,
  • Good level of analysis,
  • High level of curiosity and logical thinking,
  • Lean and Six Sigma methodologies knowledge,
  • Business development mindset balancing with a people well being philosophy,
  • You are not afraid to challenge yourself and others,
  • Excellent communication skills or how to explain simply complex problem to a wider audience,
  • High level of adaptability (including AGILE methodology),
  • Being able to work in a team but also autonomously.
