Our journey started in 2019 when our founders bonded over the shared experience of arranging a funeral. The more they looked into the industry, the more they realised how out-dated it was - resulting in customer experiences that were complicated, expensive and increasingly less human. Bare is different to your traditional funeral director. We look different, we talk different, what we offer is different. More broadly, we think there's an opportunity to change the way people think about end-of-life, and create a distinct brand for ourselves in the process. We're looking for a Head of Creative to help us navigate the telling of that narrative across a number of platforms, including TV, OOH, Social, Print & Radio. We want to be different and eye-catching, and this role will be central to how we do that!
What would you do?
Work directly with the founders and Head of Marketing to define "our place" in the worldOwn the creative process for advertising campaigns across all business lines and customer types (at-need customers, prepaid customers, estates customers, pet funeral customers)Deliver campaigns from inception to completion - research, idea generation, brief writing, execution and deliveryHire and train a small in-house creative team (initial a designer and content writer and, in time, a videographer) Build and manage external agency/freelance relationships to deliver creative content outside in-house capabilities Create some really great stuff that separates us from the crowd!
You have 5+ years of experience in an ad agency or creative team at a challenger brandYou have a track record of generating ideas and translating ideas quickly into market-ready contentYou're a natural born storyteller and you have the communication skills (written and oral) to bring the Bare vision to life You don't mind taking some creative risks - we're not going to be everyone's cup of tea!You're passionate about what we do, why we do it, and you want to be part of the ride
