How you make an impact:

As the Senior People & Culture Manager, you will oversee the results and processes of the Talent Acquisition, People & Culture, Office Experience and Talent Development functions for hipages Group (including our international offices) in APAC. You will be the leader of our fun, hard-working and collaborative team on work that’s challenging, engaging and incredibly rewarding. You will lead and coach the People & Culture team helping us to achieve positive engagement results with a consistent and ever evolving employee offering. Everything you do will ensure our company attracts, hires, develops and retains top talent.

In this role you will be working on a fixed-term basis full-time for 12 months (with an opportunity to transfer to a permanent position), reporting to the Chief People & Culture Officer.


You add value by: 

  • Execute on the FY22 Talent Roadmap and ensure team goals are aligned to business strategy.
  • Manage the P&C, Talent Acquisition and Talent Development Team members and oversee the execution of each of the functional strategies. 
  • Coach and develop the P&C team at all times and maintain an open, transparent and engaged team environment, fostering a growth and learning culture within the team.
  • Take a leadership role in performance management, succession planning, compensation planning, employee engagement and experience, social initiatives, reward & recognition, wellbeing and employer branding initiatives.
  • Provide ongoing coaching & support to people leaders and work with the leaders to customise people solutions to support business objectives using data to inform decision making.
  • Creating an empowering and inspiring work culture that suits the hipages Group, hybrid way of working.
  • Work with the team to oversee any diversity and hipages events to ensure hipages is a great place to work with a distinctive and inclusive ‘one team’ culture and aligning this experience to the remote work environment.


About You:

You show up everyday and energise everyone around you with your passion for people and help promote  a positive, inspiring and inclusive organisational culture. You work with your stakeholders to ensure you are delivering what the business needs from both an employer and commercial perspective. You love to remain agile and adaptable to work in the fast paced environment we call hipages. You like to tackle opportunities and provide solutions to regularly improve how we do things.

  • 10+ year’ experience in human resources, preferably within a fast-growth IT & T, Professional Services or Media organisation. Providing HR support across the APAC region (in particular AU, NZ, PHP and China)
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business
  • Proven track record of people leadership and developing high performing teams
  • Demonstrated experience in TA, Branding, Employee & Office Experience, Talent Development and Events
  • Proven experience working with P&C data and managing People & Culture budgets
  • Strong understanding of coaching
  • Proven track record in driving a strong company culture and engagement
  • Strong understanding of successful negotiations with potential team members, recruitment agencies, internal & external stakeholders understanding of successful commercial negotiations with potential staff,  and recruitment agencies
  • Proven experience working in Performance Management and working with the Fair Work Act, NES, Modern Awards and IR
