The Growth Marketing Designer forms an integral part of our international growth team, with the focus is to tell the story of Airwallex’s brand product and services through visually compelling narratives. In this position, you will collaborate with our growth marketing team, including marketing channel owners, developers and product managers to design and deliver compelling marketing collateral, brand messaging and UX screen designs for our growing website network.  

Additionally work with a group of talented designers and contribute to translating findings into usable, useful, effective and efficient experiences at Airwallex!

Responsibilities:

  • Shape the way our customers and visitors interact with our global suite of websites, designing webpages on desktop and mobile for new page updates, including highly reusable layouts and components for use across hundreds of pages
  • Work cross-functionally (design, engineering, CSMs, support, sales, marketing, product, branding) to iterate on Airwallex products
  • Produce performance creative for key digital channels including social & display channels
  • Design simple but elegant product, branding and marketing pages from start to finish
  • Create prototypes and product iterations
  • Give and solicit feedback from other designers in order to continually raise our bar for quality
  • Elevate the role of design within the company
  • Partner with engineering to ship pixel-perfect designs
  • Provide systems thinking that solves design problems at scale, both strategically and tactically
  • Comfortable switching between high level vision thinking to hands-on pixel work
  • Work with marketing leaders & content writers to turn ideas and written briefs into visual narratives & compelling ads
  • Regular review of usage data to analyse user behaviour and pain points
  • Participating in key internal meetings including weekly status updates and planning sessions
  • What you will bring:

  • Bachelor or above degree in design or related fields
  • 3-5 years of direct experience in marketing or product design
  • Be able to turn written briefs and product requirement documents into compelling page designs
  • Financial experience preferred, but not essential
  • Relevant experience in one or more specific business domains and in one or more markets and cultures is preferred
  • Strong understanding of user experience design for the web, mobile, or touch devices
  • Good eye for visual design with hands-on experience producing banners for Facebook, LinkedIn and display channels
  • Highly skilled in Figma, Sketch, Adobe Photoshop, Abstract, Zeplin, Jira, or other design tools
  • Ability to prototype and demonstrate design concepts to extended stakeholders using Invision, Principle or Framer tools
  • Experience producing animated imagery or video editing and production is a bonus
