What are we looking for?

We are looking for an experienced P&C Business Partner to join our team at supporting our Australian and South East Asia teams as we continue to grow and expand across the region. 

So whats the role about?

The People & Culture team are helping to find, grow and keep the amazing talent at You'll be an advocate of our culture and values, partnering and supporting our teams to maximize the potential of our people by enabling individuals to thrive, grow and achieve their life’s best work. This is a stand alone role however you will be joining a team of Business Partners located in our other regions.

How will you be spending your time? 

No two days will ever be the same. Whether recruiting our next team member, building or refining our core programs, developing talent, or simply looking for ways to inject some more fun into the lives of our Adventurers, we are building a workplace where everyone can bring their unique contributions and self. 

  • Update and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
  • Partner with leaders and team members as an effective business-enabler to create value-add through effectively planned and deployed people management practices
  • Building a culture of inclusion and accountability, reinforcing our values and vision
  • Manage the entire employee life cycle from recruitment to offboarding leveraging systems and teams, ensuring all process run optimally 
  • Be the custodian of the Australia office culture, policies, and practices and constantly re-evaluate and update based on industry trends and practices
  • Act as the advocate for leading the talent management and development plans for business units with a focus on enhancing the quality of leaders and managers, building skills and capabilities of the workforce, and ensuring succession strength.
  • Guide and coach managers on how to appropriately manage and resolve complex HR issues (e.g. performance management or conflict resolution).
  • Manage the performance review framework, processes and resources including providing input into the design and implementation of our new performance system
  • Proactively look at how we reward and recognise our people and implement initiatives to drive the right results, behaviour and culture

About You

You will thrive in a startup environment, are very hands on, naturally curious and highly collaborative, while bringing subject matter experience from former roles. You will play an important role in shaping and fostering culture, people processes and supporting our people and leaders to grow and thrive so they can achieve their life’s best work.

  • 5yrs + HR experience and knowledge to back it up in an fast paced environment 
  • You thrive on solving complex problems and can swiftly synthesize requirements and to come up with simple solutions
  • Verbal and Written communication is a strength - you’re good at letting people know what’s going on and keeping calm and focused to ensure traction is maintained
  • Great empathy skills with the innate ability to to get connect and listen 
  • You love to work in a busy and fast-paced environment and are comfortable working with ambiguity to create process and efficiencies
  • You just get things done - being naturally proactive and motivated, you use your initiative to pre-empt and support effective people operations
  • A proven track record in successfully building strong relationships, you take a collaborative approach to how you work with everyone
  • Experience of dealing with and influencing others up to senior leadership level
  • Great attention to detail, with ability to produce clear, concise documentation.
