Showpo is on the lookout for a Social Media Assistant to help implement and drive our social media program, to connect and build our brand with millions of fans around the world each day.
About The Role:
This is a unique opportunity to work with Australia’s leading fashion e-commerce retailer. It’s a diverse, hands on role working in an agile and creative environment. From capturing, sourcing and implementing content, to jumping on trending pop-culture moments, it’s a fun, creative and technical role. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about fashion and pop culture, someone who has experience in executing the daily social outputs for all organic social platforms
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the creation and scheduling of engaging content for our social media channelsCreate story and feed content using Instagram apps, tools & filtersAssist the social media and content team in the implementation of the social media strategyUse your understanding of all social channels to come up with engaging content concepts Ensure product focus areas, brand focuses and sitewide promotions are communicated across all channels through daily postingConsistently drive topical, pop culture and relevant, youthful content through our channels & being reactive and agile to the market, trends and pop culture spaceAssist in carrying out the brand identity of Showpo by adhering to the branding guide across our various social platformsUnderstanding social media performance and what’s working well on the channel vs what isn’tMaintain a consistent brand tone of voice across channels Living and breathing social media, constantly looking for ways to elevate and evolve our brand, engage our audience and create strong, impactful content
Experience & Qualities Required:
Experience in a marketing support role for a fast paced fashion and retail brandLives and breathes social media with an understanding of all existing channels Showpo is across (Instagram, FB, Pinterest, Tiktok) and the Ability to quickly learn and understand new channels and featuresA go-getter attitudeAn eye for fashion, trends and pop cultureImpeccable written and verbal communicationInterpersonal skillsHave the ability to work under pressureWorks well in a rapidly changing and fast-moving environmentWorks well with a team, while also being hands on with the ability to work independentlyResults-oriented and brand focusedExperience in supporting social media channel strategy execution And most importantly, your approach to work aligns with our company culture: think big, get s**t done and have fun.
