The role

The Sidekicker Acquisition team is charged with bringing Sidekickers awesome market-disrupting technology to new clients across Australia and NZ. As such, the team is made up of inbound and outbound sales and delivery functions to our core customer types of SMB, corporate and enterprise customers across all verticals, who are seeking a better solution to their casual labour needs, bringing in quality customers who are then passed onto the Customer teams who then deliver on the job to be done - finding labour.

We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager to oversee and support our mid-market sales representatives team. As a senior member of the team reporting directly to the Head of Acquisition, you will be responsible for building a high-performance sales team to ensure customer satisfaction.

The role responsibilities will include, but not be limited to;

  • Manage the inside sales representative team to achieve sales targets.
  • Set and track sales targets and activity quotas for your team.
  • Define territories for the inside sales team and allocation of leads.
  • Develop strategy and resources to ensure lead generation achieves objectives.
  • Work with marketing to ensure MQLs are achieving agreed targets.
  • Suggest and implement improvements in the sales administration process.
  • Coordinate department projects to meet deadlines.
  • Report on sales metrics and suggest improvements.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts.
  • Use customer feedback to generate ideas about new features or products.
  • Research and discover methods to increase customer engagement.
  • Ensure sales, finance, operations and legal policies and procedures are met.
  • Build an open-communication environment for your team.
  • Liaise with Marketing and Product Development departments to ensure brand consistency and increase sales.

About you:

  • Proven work experience as an Inside Sales Manager.
  • Strong people management and ability to get the most out of your people.
  • You’re proven in driving business decisions and running an inside sales function.
  • You’re super experienced at building dashboards and reporting in Salesforce or similar CRM.
  • You’re analytical. You let data win arguments, and you’re a whizz with Excel / Google Sheets skills.
  • You’re a team player. You are skilled at motivating and managing diverse teams.
  • You’re driven. You stop at nothing to ensure our operational processes are the best they can be.
  • You're a digital guru. You have an excellent tech IQ and use this to drive leading and scalable processes.
  • You’re a natural communicator. You know how to get people on the same page and can influence them to get stuff done.
  • Bonus Points: You have experience working in a marketplace environment.
