About the Role:

Finding the right tradesman for home improvement jobs can be time-consuming and stressful. Hipages helps Australians hire the right tradesman for the right price, and in just a fraction of the time it used to take. We’re on a mission to enable effortless home improvement, and with well over 1M home improvement jobs expected to be posted on hipages this year, we are already a market leader in this highly competitive industry. 

The Lifecycle Marketing Manager is critical to our next phase of growth. It is responsible for increasing the LTV of our consumer user base by increasing the average number of jobs posted per user. If you’ve built omnichannel retention strategies for consumer audiences before, we probably want to hear from you. If the acronyms UX, LTV and RFV are in your everyday vocab, you’re looking like a good fit for the role. If you’ve used Braze or similar marketing automation platforms, you’re looking great for the role. This is a killer opportunity for a growth-oriented marketer with a creative spirit, an analytical mind and the desire to make lifecycle marketing fun for our users. 

In this role, you'll be:  

  • Defining and executing the strategy to increase the number of “repeat jobs” per hipages user via email, push, in-app messaging and SMS.
  • Collaborating closely with the product team to ensure a seamless, best-in-class UX on-product and off-product, with a view to increasing satisfaction, retention and consumer LTV.
  • Working closely with the Data team to develop a practical and effective customer segmentation model.
  • Pushing the business to be a leader in the lifecycle marketing space, constantly championing and agitating for change. 
  • Designing, executing and continually optimising consumer lifecycle communications, journeys, initiatives and campaigns to increase engagement and grow job volumes from existing customers
  • Running extensive testing and experimentation.
  • Working with the broader consumer marketing team to deliver on the consumer growth strategy.
  • Helping plug leaks in the conversion funnel.

What you'll bring:

  • You can demonstrate data-driven lifecycle marketing experience across strategy and execution.
  • You possess a truly multi-disciplinary lifecycle marketing toolkit. This includes ability in content marketing, marketing automation, copywriting, online creative, behavioural design and ‘digital storytelling’.
  • Marketing analytics and digital marketing reporting are second nature.
  • Braze skills are highly desirable, basic HTML/ CSS skills are a nice-to-have.
  • Experience with Braze or other similar marketing automation platforms.
  • General UI & UX design understanding
