A bit about us:

Gamers spent more than $100 billion on in-game items last year. However, until now, games have only sold licences for these in-game items with highly restricted rights. At Immutable, we’re all about ownership: we use blockchain technology to give players true and “immutable” ownership over the items they’ve worked so hard to acquire. 

However, blockchain assets right now are highly illiquid: transactions take minutes or hours to confirm, Ethereum can process fewer than 5 asset trades per second for the whole world combined, and the UX is very challenging for mainstream users. To solve this problem for ourselves and for others, we have built Immutable X (ImX), a next-generation protocol for trading NFTs with instant trade confirmation, massive scalability, and no gas fees without compromising user custody. 

As our Brand Manager, you would maintain brand integrity across all company marketing initiatives and communications, and manage a portfolio of collateral. You will have a unique opportunity to influence and lead the strategic marketing initiatives of Immutable, with a focus on employer branding. You will be accountable for successfully positioning our mission and offerings in the market and improving our branding and reach, directly improving talent acquisition. 

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Execute branding strategies: Plan and execute go to market strategies and campaigns that improve employer branding and support talent acquisition
  • Facilitate projects: Project manage marketing workstreams with several dependencies, cross-functional stakeholders, internal and external creative resources
  • Manage social media platforms: Own the content calendar activating campaigns and BAU across Immutable channels
  • Write best-in-class copy: Be a great storyteller writing best-in-class copy across a variety of mediums ensuring all content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality and tone of voice, stakeholder approvals, and optimized for search and user experience for all channels of support
  • Stay connected: Develop a deep understanding of publicity prospects through personas, community engagement, events competitor and industry analysis
  • Collaborate internally: Liaise with marketing counterparts in Gods Unchained, Guild of Guardians and Immutable X and other marketplaces for cross-promotion and content, and case studies
  • You’ll have:

  • 4-5+ years experience in marketing, product marketing, or partnerships in a technology startup environment
  • A proven track record of leading complex projects cross-functionally
  • Strong marketing acumen and prior experience leading employer branding marketing projects 
  • Adept writing, copywriting and creative abilities
  • Experience managing a high volume of creative and campaign types in parallel
  • Experience with various projects types, including socials (Twitter, Youtube, Facebook, LinkedIn), blog (Medium, own), PR (editorial, paid partnerships, activations, community events), influencers, email (newsletters), digital (aggregators, affiliates), and website
  • Some extra skills that would be awesome:

  • Experience with working internationally
  • Experience with blockchain, NFT or token projects
