A bit about the role

Our headcount in Sydney has been steadily growing, we are currently 24 strong and following the successful execution of three cohorts with the forth currently in flight, our long expected Melbourne launch is now happening! Therefore, we are on the hunt for a Head of Melbourne to lead this new location. 

Initially, your focus will be on setting up the operational requirements which will form the foundations of Antler Melbourne and then be responsible for its continued success. This will involve local office set up and team working cadences. You will be able to adopt much of what has been successful in Sydney but applying a local lens. You will then lead the Melbourne community of Founders constantly deriving insights and seeking improvements or new initiatives to deliver. 

The key success metrics you will be focused on delivering are the number of investments the cohort yields and weekly Founder NPS.

Your love of people radiates and so you have a broad network throughout the Melbourne tech ecosystem. You know will have relationships with the key players and know who to tap up to go beyond that.

Across the numbers

You know the devil is in the detail and you are at home with complex data sets, deriving insights, checking against evolving situations and synthesising. Perhaps you cut your teeth as an Associate or Analyst in a tier one firm and then moved into tech. Or, have held a strategy/operations role in a start-up or scale-up.

Communication

You believe in being open and honest. You are a clean and concise communicator able to deliver complex and sometimes tough messages with clarity and empathy. You are able to motivate and lead a team and a larger community.

We have a one team approach. We win together and take risks, acknowledging this means backing and recognising each other’s efforts and offering support when needed.

Salary

This depends on your experience to date. Compensation will be a combination of a competitive base salary plus carry in our fund.
