We are a global SaaS WealthTech scale-up with offices in Chicago, USA and Sydney, Australia, powering growing financial advice firms around the world. Practifi is secure, reliable and massively scalable.

We’re looking for a Junior/Mid Front End Engineer (Product) to join our Core Product Squad in Sydney to help us achieve milestones in our product roadmap. This team comprises a group of highly competent engineers who have been successful in identifying and delivering strategic product initiatives within an agile and cross-functional team environment.   

This is a great opportunity for a budding engineer to join a growing SaaS scale up and build a career on the ever expanding Salesforce platform, whilst working with some of the best brains in the industry. Your success will be measured in how you can contribute to this team to deliver product initiatives at pace whilst continuing to improve the code quality and standards.

What you'll do:

  • Work as part of a close-knit squad spanning product management, business analysis, UX design, front-end development, quality assurance and technical writing to deliver high-quality, high-impact applications — fast.
  • Design and build leading-edge Lightning Web Components to enable our clients to efficiently interact with business critical information.
  • In conjunction with the senior developer, design & build a broad range of Lightning Web Components, with an emphasis on high performance and hyper-efficiency.
  • Work closely with the Product Design team to create a seamless and pixel-perfect user experience that is recognised across the industry.
  • Work closely with senior engineers, architects and devops to constantly improve the quality of code and speed of throughput across the engineering team.

    • About you:

  • Degree-level qualifications in computer science or a related field.
  • 1+ years experience in JavaScript libraries such as React, Angular or Vue and related technologies. 
  • Previous experience working in a SaaS scale up will be viewed very favourably. 
  • Experience working on the Salesforce platform is a massive plus.
  • Experience in deployment of software on to platforms through devops is a plus.
  • A desire to build a career in Salesforce!
  • Interest in working in the fintech space and wealth management industry. 
  • An ambitious and driven developer who continuously seeks to improve his or her craft.
