We are looking for a Director of Marketing (B2B) to be based in either our Melbourne or Sydney offices to support the SME sales and partnership teams with customer acquisition, retention and growth. This person will be part of the Australian SME leadership team and will act as the owner of demand generation across multiple channels including digital, offline, event and content. This person will work hand in hand with our Head of Sales to drive customer and revenue growth for Australia.


  • Manage a multi-million dollar (and growing) marketing budget with P&L responsibility
  • Build and lead the marketing team to drive demand generation across multiple channels including digital, offline and content
  • Create, empower and mentor a high performing marketing team by championing continuous improvement and operational excellence
  • Work closely with the Head of Sales to drive customer and revenue generation through targeted marketing campaigns 
  • Work cross functionally with the global communications and branding teams to create an established and trusted brand in the Australia market
  • Build and embed a data driven and experimental culture of continuous learning and improvement
  • What you bring:

  • At least 8+ years marketing experience in the B2B
  • An understanding of the motivators of the target market and mechanisms to reach them
  • Experience building and leading a high performing marketing function, ideally at a rapidly growing scale up
  • Strong analytical skills and a data driven orientation
  • You are an exceptional communicator and collaborator – being able to connect with people at all levels, both internally and with external stakeholders
  • You thrive under pressure – and work well with constant change and the ambiguity of a startup environment
  • You’re a self-starter and a team player - work cohesively with colleagues from across the organisation
  • Great coach and enjoy developing people
