THE ICONIC is hiring a Performance Marketing Manager to join our Performance team. We are looking for a strategic, analytical, hands-on individual who has at least four years of Paid Social experience. The role will also include working across other programmatic channels, however with a primary focus is Paid Social. This role will include building and implementing full-funnel marketing strategies alongside the wider marketing teams incorporating a number of digital and traditional marketing channels.

About our role...

  • You will be a key team member responsible for driving growth in our new & emerging categories e.g. Outlet, Beauty, Kids and more to come
  • Working with a cross functional team of marketers and category management to devise strategy, planning and execution of campaigns
  • Managing the day to day activities across Paid Social, Display, BVOD, Native, Video and Youtube .This includes campaign planning, implementation, budget management and performance review of all campaigns working alongside the existing team
  • Mentoring junior members of the team
  • Feeding into the strategic direction of the overall performance team 
  • Looking for opportunities to leverage business data applying it to these channels in any number of ways
  • Working closely with other teams like SEO, buying, CRM, SEM and Data to improve performance
  • Working closely with our in-house creative and social teams to implement creative strategies across our channels
  • Report on key performance indicators to the wider Marketing team and Executive team on a weekly basis

About you...

  • Passionate about Online Marketing and a keen follower of current trends in the industry
  • A love for paid and social & performance Marketing - Paid social is your Bread and Butter (At least 3-4 years experience)
  • Experience in running full-funnel campaigns
  • Strong attention to detail and comfortable working with large amounts of data.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, collaborate with colleagues and a hunger to learn new things with a positive attitude.
  • Possess critical thinking skills and have the ability to turn data into actionable insights to move the business forward. 
  • A technical and operational knowledge of the programmatic ecosystem, as well as some of the major DSPs and SSPs in the Australian market
  • A strong understanding of performance marketing and ability to drive efficiency, as well as analysing data and delivering insights.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including confidence in presenting and experience communicating the benefit of marketing opportunities within these channels to brands
  • High energy and driven to keep improving skills and strive and the best in the market
  • Ability to prioritize and work efficiently in a dynamic and fast-paced start-up environment
