As an Enterprise Relationship Manager, you'll be joining our Account Management Team to service our retail, medical and hospitality customers. You will work with a high performing team that manages relationships with Tyro’s largest customers. These customers contribute 20% of Tyro’s overall transactional volume and the team works collaboratively across the organization to ensure their experience with Tyro is of the highest standard. 
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of enterprise level accounts, they will build and maintain a long-term relationship and capitalize on any growth opportunities within these accounts.

What you'll be doing...

  • Play fundamental role in setting up new merchants; take responsibility for the effective on-boarding of new strategic merchants.
  • Proactively assess, clarify, and validate merchant needs on an ongoing basis.
  • Lead solution development efforts that best address merchant needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary internal departments.
  • Coordinate the involvement of internal departments including; finance, customer support, product management, risk, compliance and legal, in order to meet business objectives and merchant expectations.
  • Manage and report on merchant churn trends within portfolio and provide feedback to appropriate departments.
  • Develop sales strategies to identify, influence and up-sell to multiple decision makers to drive growth and increase stickiness in order to ensure business retention.
  • Lead negotiations and manage analysis on rates comparisons to retain your merchant base.
  • Identify and grow opportunities within your portfolio and collaborate with PM’s to ensure these opportunities are implemented effectively.
  • Ability to identify the “holes and opportunities” with existing accounts for cross-selling of Tyro products.
  • Think strategically and take initiative to improve the business when and where appropriate.
  • Liaise with PM’s to provide product feedback and to develop/implement new features for corporate groups as and when appropriate.
  • Work with Marketing in pursuit of brand awareness, developing strategies and case studies to build the Tyro brand.
  • Conduct analysis on your portfolio to understand and report back to each account on their performance and overall experience with Tyro products and services.

  • What you will bring to the role...

  • B2B sales experience
  • Enterprise relationship management experience
  • Have experience managing relationships with retail and hospitality businesses in relation to a technology product
  • Have an enthusiasm for customer service and sales
  • Experience building strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to drive outcomes for their business and its customers.
  • Have experience managing multiple tasks, identifying priorities and can operate with excellent time management.
  • Be proactive: take the opportunity to ‘lean in’ where possible and appropriate, contributing to team tasks and projects
  • Respond to all requests in a timely manner & follows through on commitments.
  • Have a keen attention to detail and follow-up
  • Continuously look for opportunities to create process improvements
  • Have loads of initiative and don’t shy away from a challenge. A self-starter.
