The role of the Sales Activations Specialist is to work with our SMB customers to ensure they see value in the Shippit offering, as well as have a smooth transition into using our service for the first time. Our representatives work with the customer during their first few months on the platform, after which the client is expected to be self-sufficient.
 
A Sales Activations Specialist will run activations calls with new clients to ensure that they will be up and running and confidently using the platform within their trial period. These sessions will either be booked by the sales representatives that initially closed the deal. The specialist will also assist in chasing up questions around the setup process for new clients, and help by raising out-of-scope concerns through to the appropriate support channels.
 
The role is seen as a product expert who can effectively communicate the value proposition to customers to ensure they are successful at using the platform. The specialist also acts as a conduit for customer feedback being brought back into the business to enable Marketing / Product Development to improve our offering to customers.
