The Partnership Marketing Manager is responsible for delivering on marketing initiatives with Partners and by optimising and improving the strategy behind Tyro’s partnership marketing management including events. The primary purpose of this role is to increase brand awareness, drive lead generation and accelerate conversion to application for Tyro across different industry verticals.
This role will be pivotal in improving partner advocacy and experience by building strong partner relations with existing partners, as well as adding value to newly on-boarded partnerships through key joint initiatives, execution of go-to-market launch plans and value exchange programs. The Partnership Marketing Manager will manage projects end-to-end and work closely with the rest of the Partnership Marketing team to deliver against key strategic objectives. They will create a collaborative team environment across their immediate network with Partner Managers, Sales Managers, as well as the rest of the Marketing and Customer teams.

Main Duties:

  • Collaborate with the Customer Partnerships team to deliver Tyro’s partner targets
  • Deliver and optimise tailored marketing campaigns for Tyro’s 300+ POS/PMS Partners including the Tyro Activate Partner Program (TAPP), members of the Tyro Referral Program (TRP), Tyro ISV partners (TIPP), strategic partners and associations
  • Work collaboratively with Partner Managers who own the Partner relationships
  • Execute campaigns from start to finish on time and on budget
  • Use a wide range of marketing strategies and techniques including but not limited to: email; press; landing pages; DM; events; road shows; webinars; digital display; SEM; SEO; merchandise; videos; lead nurturing; offers; collateral; and paid social
  • Assist in enabling Sales, Partner Managers and Partners with sales collateral, training and tools to ensure they best represent Tyro
  • Measure results across Partner campaigns and provide regular reporting on key metrics
  • Improve partner advocacy and experience by building strong partner relations with existing partners and add value to newly on-boarded partnerships through key joint initiatives, execution of go-to-market launch plans and value exchange programs
  • Support the development and maintenance of the Partner Portal from a marketing perspective
  • Work closely with the Brand & Communications and Digital teams to create effective partner campaigns that deliver compelling reasons to choose Tyro
  • Effectively communicate partner campaign launches and events to relevant internal teams
  • Keep informed on trends, customer attitudes and behaviours
  • Skills & Experience Needed:

  • Approximately 5-8 years’ marketing experience with a focus on partnership marketing and acquisition across the full marketing funnel
  • Events management experience preferred
  • Tertiary business or marketing-related qualification
  • Financial services industry experience preferred
  • Broad understanding of the Australian media environment
  • Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organisational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment
