The Opportunity
As Afterpay’s Research Operations Manager, you’ll partner with the Marketing, Product, Policy, Compliance and external-facing teams (e.g. Sales, Investor Relations, PR, Comms) to help Afterpay ‘Win with Merchants’ and ‘Scale Actionable Insights’ through world class data & insight.
With a focus on action and driving outcomes, your role is responsible for optimising efforts across research teams and business units, improving processes internally through initiatives and programs whilst managing stakeholders on a global scale.

Working with the guidance of the Director of Research & Strategy, this role plays a key part in setting and embedding the overarching strategy into our global research initiatives.
Leading the mapping and ongoing improvement of processes across research teams, including risk controls, to ensure quality of outputs is maintained.
Leading strategic alignment of objectives and key research initiatives across teams and business units.
Supporting the consolidation of research insights and dissemination of these findings across different teams and business units.
Ensuring research efficiency through processes, tools and ways of working with flexibility for future growth.
Oversight of research budget and reconciliation. 

Who are you?
Like us, you’ll be deeply committed to delivering positive outcomes for customers and passionate about shaping the future of Afterpay.
10+ years client-side experience, with 2+ years marketing operations and/or 2+ market research experience highly regarded.
Excellent people leadership skills
Significant experience in a fast-paced, high growth marketing environment
Ability to demonstrate product and program ownership and contribution to its creation, development and ongoing management, ideally in a technology, finance or retail setting.
Highly collaborative with entrepreneurial mindset 
Strategic thinker with a passion for problem solving
A go getter with a sharp eye for commercial performance and best practices
Strong communicator and influencer with exceptional stakeholder management
Proven leadership through a changing environment and dynamic business 
You like to keep it real with your actions, be brave with your decisions, do the right thing for all our stakeholders and shape the future with excitement
