We have a remote-first culture and this position can be based anywhere from Australia or New Zealand. This role can be fully remote or a hybrid if you are in Melbourne. We encourage you to work in the way that best suits you

The Opportunity at Culture Amp

We are looking for a Director of Delivery to join the Engagement Camp leadership team. 

Engage is the jewel in Culture Amp’s crown, bringing in a large share of the company’s revenue, and helping over 4,500 customers improve their companies every year. In this role, you contribute not only to our Camp’s success, but to the success of culture-oriented organizations and their employees globally.

You will be accountable for line managing and coaching the Delivery Leads in the Camp, as well as for ensuring that the Camp is in excellent operational health, as observed in the engagement and productivity of its teams. In particular, you’ll ensure that we’re managing capacity, planning effectively and communicating well, both inside the Camp and with stakeholders from around the business (think: OKRs, release planning, delivery progress and so on).

As the Director of Delivery your role will involve the following:


  • Camp operations including rituals, cadences, planning methods
  • Staffing, hiring plans, capacity planning decisions 

Key outcomes 

  • Mentoring
    Mentor the Delivery Leads for each team, to support their needs and development, and to drive alignment and excellent planning and delivery practices into all teams within the Camp.

  • Camp health
    Ensure Campers are happy, productive, enjoy their work, have clear remits, and help to resolve issues and work through plans to improve culture and engagement

  • Camp operations
    Ensure the cadences and staffing of the Camp are in top shape. Forecast resource capacity and plan ahead to meet key objectives. Help set the rhythms that ensure smooth operation - communication, knowledge sharing, work progress, etc - of the Camp.

  • Planning
    Drive a rigorous planning process for each product cycle, to ensure plans are clear and teams have identified risks and blockers for delivery leads to proactively work to resolve.

  • Delivery
    Put in place appropriate processes and exceptional delivery outcomes. Work to improve how teams learn and improve in their delivery.

  • Communication
    Ensure a steady flow of communication within the Camp, and facilitate knowledge-sharing, plan visibility and alignment of large initiatives between Camps.
