Dubber is the world’s leading Unified call recording and Voice AI platform that enables every conversation to be captured and transformed into voice data to improve business performance. We recently acquired Notiv, a business located in Brisbane, so now we also build cloud software that records and analyses online or offline meetings so that busy professionals can get better results from client meetings. Dubber is listed on the ASX (DUB) with offices in Brisbane, Melbourne, London, Atlanta and Dallas.
A future where meetings don't mean admin, don't mean mundane and are in fact the opposite. Engaging encounters that are captured, analysed, shared and actioned. Businesses get happier, more productive and effective teams. Their clients get better results and their businesses grow.
The Notiv team at Dubber is made up of entrepreneurial designers, product and machine learning engineers, as well as talented marketing and sales professionals. We strive to make complex simple. We try things, make mistakes and share, because that's how we help each other grow. Trust is key.
As an early engineer at Notiv, you will be responsible for helping to shape the foundation of our product and the front and back-end technologies that power it. We are in our scale up phase so we are looking for a self-motivated, passionate, and positive individual who is excited about solving problems for people in elegant and iterative ways. You will be working in close proximity to our intelligence team so an interest in machine learning is a big plus.
What's your impact?
- Ability to work between our front-end and back-end code bases
- Work with other teams on our existing APIs, core media services and intelligence services.
- Identifying opportunities for common services to extract from our existing codebases
- Solving security and performance problems and cracking bugs, and delivering a solution
- Release your work, iterating post-release and learn about how your services react to user loads through both server statistics and user analytics.
Passion! We are impressed by people who don't half do things. You have a thirst for knowledge, and challenge yourself to improve
No BS. You are able to 'Get It Done' and manage your time
Drive! You have an inherent curiosity to solve problems and overcome challenges
Specific backend languages/frameworks are not necessary though knowledge of Ruby on Rails and React helps. Embrace test-driven development and code review culture and familiarity with machine learning theory is a big plus.
- React Native, Recoil, Redux or other JS state management libraries.
- AWS / Docker / k8s / Terraform.
- WebRTC and Streaming technologies.
- CQRS / Event sourcing principles.
- NodeJS / Typescript / Golang.
